Happy spring, everyone!  In looking through this past winter's posts, I'm happy to see that I didn't fall into a rut with my outfits as much as I have in past winters.  The winter season always seems to bring out a lot of, "I don't know what to wearrrrr..." whining in me..... and probably due to our mild weather, I didn't find myself complaining too much this past season.  Come to think of it, a lot of my outfits were practically spring-inspired... even back in December when I was still pulling out the cropped pants.

I'm celebrating today's beautiful spring day with a little bridesmaids shopping with one of my best pals. Wish us luck!

Goodbye, 2011

I just started this blog at the beginning of 2011.  I wanted to hold myself accountable for putting some thought into what I wear, and loved following so many other blogs, it just seemed like an easy way to keep track of my wardrobe.

So on the last day of this year, I'm looking back on some of my favorite outfits from 2011.  Really..this post is for me, so next year, I can just mimic, adjust, and occasionally repeat.  Maybe.  Unless I get back into that nasty shopping habit again...

              

              

            

            

             

             

            

Fall 2011 Recap

                 

                

                

                 

Today is the first day of winter, and so I'm spending some time looking back through this past fall season.  I started another year of teaching, and have been working my tail off since September.  I'm doing my internship for my Master's, and I had been deep into wedding planning until the holidays became a major distraction.  Other than that, nothing too eventful has happened this season.

Regarding my outfits, I don't have much to say about these styles... except that they seem to be all over the place.  I've been obsessed with skirts/dresses and my brown boots, but that's been going on for years.  Other than that, I'm happy to look back and see lots of color.  I actually wish I had played up the fall color palette a little more... but for now, I'll just focus on keeping a bright and cheery winter wardrobe over the next few months.

Summer 2011 Recap

I cannot believe this summer has come to such a quick end.  I had such a wonderful time relaxing during all of July and August, and the time flew by, just as it always does.  This summer, I turned 28, enjoyed some weekends at the shore, had some great times with family and friends, enjoyed a beautiful vacation, and even got engaged!

In terms of personal fashion, I really enjoyed playing dress-up this summer and mixing and matching some unexpected items in my closet.  I'm proud of the outfits I pulled together over the past several weeks, and I want to share a few of my favorites before the weather turns cold and I have to completely forget about my favorite shorts and sandals.  Any favorites?
