Has anyone else let the cold weather sink them into a style rut? I can't manage to care anymore about what I wear, I'm stuck on soft, warm layers, and nothing more. My weekly rotation includes the same basics, while a huge portion of my closet remains untouched.
I could say that other aspects of my life have kept me away from blogging, but the truth is, I'm feeling uncreative and bored with my attire. I consider blogging every day, but feel like I have nothing to share. And for some reason, I'm not convinced that a shopping spree will fix the problem.
I'm so excited for us to welcome April. I'm so excited to wear flats and not boots, cropped pants, light jackets, and dresses without tights. When will this winter end?

Hi Renee! It's Meghan (the girl from the mall last year who called you out as a blogger at Loft!). Just wanted to say so sorry for your rough 2012, with its many griefs. I, too, was happy to say goodbye to 2012. I hope you father is doing better. Congratulations on your new house and baby puppy! Hopefully the coming spring will get you in better spirits. Lifting you and your family up in prayer!
ReplyDeleteHey Renee! I too can't wait for spring to arrive, here in Canada we have caught a glimpse of it but I know is not yet over. I just started following your blog ( love it BTW!) and I'm sure you will emerge from your style rut as soon as spring arrives.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both! Especially since it makes for a much more pleasant wait at the bus stop for me! Maryland keeps fooling us with one day of warmth and then nothing.
