Our first lazy day of vacation included a less than festive July 4th celebration. Our plans to watch fireworks were unexpectedly ruined by a big thunderstorm in the area. We stayed at home and watched the lightening storm (and some very distant fireworks) from our porch.
Not too many good pictures came out of the lazy evening, but I did manage to catch a nice picture of Erik and a cute moment between my parents as they sat on the porch swing. The view from this vacation home is always beautiful, no matter what the weather brings.
